Briefly, the services we provide are:
Advice on business start ups and incorporation
We can help you make your business idea a reality. We will advise on the correct type of business vehicle to use and deal with all of the formalities of registration with Companies House and the VAT and tax authorities.
Help at board room level
Making financial decisions between directors is often a hard task and sometimes leads to disagreements which harm the business. Many new or small companies do not have the resources to appoint a financial director who can help control the finances of the company and give an independent view on the decisions that need to be made. We can help with this by providing a member of staff as a director or non-exec. director to help with these issues. This will save money and also give the company a more stable 'boardroom' which is very important to customers, funders and suppliers.
Help in getting access to finance
All lenders such as banks and alternative funders will need cashflow forecasts and business plans before they will offer any finance to a new or existing business. We can guide your business through this maze and prepare all the necessary figures that your application will require. We are also very experienced in raising finance for businesses from other sources such as invoice discouting etc.
Bookkeeping and accounts systems
We take the hassle out of running your business by providing a complete bookkeeping system either at your premises or based at our offices. We can design a new system for you or recommend alterations to your existing one so that it gives your business the most up to date management information and you will be sure that your business affairs fully comply with all of the current legislation. We can provide help and guidance on all aspects of Making Tax Digital so that you are ready to meet the challenges from April 2019.
Our practice helps many of our clients by preparing VAT returns either from their own records or using our bookkeeping systems and we can advise on all aspects of Making Tax Digital. We also advise on the different types of VAT scheme available to ensure that your business benefits from using the best suited scheme.
